Instructions for deleting your data from Tap-It

If you want to keep your account active but wish to clear or delete specific data (such as past expenses, logs, or biometric preferences) associated with your Tap-It profile, you can request a data deletion.

Note: Some data is required for the core functionality of the app. If you wish to delete ALL data, including your profile, please refer to our Account Deletion process instead.

Method 1: Clear Data within the App

You can manage and clear your specific data directly from the Tap-It app:

  1. Open the Tap-It app and navigate to your Settings.
  2. Tap on Privacy & Security (if applicable) or look for a Clear Data option.
  3. Select the specific data you wish to remove (e.g., Clear App Cache, Clear History) and confirm.

Method 2: Submit a Data Deletion Request

If you need assistance removing specific data from our servers while keeping your account active, please contact us:

  1. Send an email to admin@aitra.org from your registered email address.
  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
  3. Clearly specify which data you would like us to remove from our systems.

Please note that we will process your request in accordance with applicable privacy laws. This may take up to 30 days.
